Fall Exhibit Update

The show is still on…but not until next September (2010). The acceptance letter from the exhibit coordinator contained the wrong date. I am not disappointed. I was starting to feel a little stressed about all of my colleagues and myself getting our work pulled together in time. Another year to prepare will be put to good use.

Fall Exhibit

My work has been accepted to be a part of a group exhibit at the Springer Cultural Center in Champaign, IL. I will be displaying my most current paintings with other Champaign Schools Art Teachers. The show will be from September 15th through October 17th; with an opening reception on Friday, September 18th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Please come check it out!

May Sky

As I drive into school each day, the sunrise and sky are different every time. The absence of terrestrial features inspires me to look to the uniqueness of the skies.

I will be showing this piece, along with some others at an open critique with fellow Champaign Art teachers this summer.
